Proof gates

The immune system for digital action.

Proof Gates are the layer that asks whether an action has enough evidence to move. They are designed to spot weak proof, missing proof, risky proof and overconfident claims.

What a proof gate checks

  • Is there evidence for the action?
  • Is the proof fresh, relevant and strong?
  • Is the actor allowed to request the action?
  • Is the public claim supported?
  • Does this need owner review?
  • Could this expose private data?

What it can decide

A proof gate does not need every action to be blocked. It gives the system more choices: allow, review, challenge, hold or block. That is what makes the system practical. Safe actions can keep moving. Unclear actions can slow down. Dangerous actions can stop.

Before payment

Payment release can require completion evidence, dispute checks or cooling logic.

Before deployment

Builds can require staging, content depth, manifest, safety review and rollback.

Before public trust

Trust badges and proof pages should be backed by authorised build state and safe public evidence.
